What each service costs and how ordering works
Fees in pounds sterling for each service, what they include, what moves them, and the steps from first enquiry to invoice.
Indicative prices for each service we offer
These figures are starting points for typical jobs, quoted in pounds sterling. The final amount is set in a written quotation once we know your equipment, site and the depth of review you need.
-
01
Camera System Consultancy: from £450
A written recommendation on camera selection, rigging and configuration for one studio or one outside broadcast set-up. More cameras, extra locations or a second round of notes raise the fee.
-
02
Stage Lighting Design Review: from £380
Covers your lighting plot with notes on colour temperature, positions and camera-friendly levels. Larger plots and multi-set studios are quoted by the number of sets reviewed.
-
03
Audio Sync Audit: from £520
Includes review of your audio and video chain and a written report on latency, clocking and fixes. Complex chains with many sources or remote feeds take longer and cost more.
-
04
Control Room Workflow Planning: from £600
Layout and operating procedure advice for a gallery team on live productions. Price depends on team size, number of positions and whether we visit the room.
-
05
Technical Writing for Broadcasters: from £35 an hour
Manuals, run sheets and internal documents written for crews. Charged by the hour with an estimate agreed first, since length and the amount of checking on site vary widely.
-
06
Team Training Sessions: from £320 a session
Remote or on-site sessions on studio signal flow and live practice. On-site sessions add travel from Dorchester, and group size and session length are agreed in the quotation.
