Services
Six areas of written advice, review and training for studio and live production teams, from cameras to control room.
Consultancy, review and training for production teams
inquirix works across the technical chain of a television or live studio: cameras, lighting, audio timing, gallery layout and the documents crews rely on. Most work is delivered in writing, with remote or on-site sessions where a team prefers to talk things through.
- 01
Camera System Consultancy
Written advice on camera selection, rigging and configuration for studio and outside broadcast work.
- 02
Stage Lighting Design Review
A review of your lighting plot with notes on colour temperature, positioning and camera-friendly levels.
- 03
Audio Sync Audit
We assess lip-sync, latency and clocking across your audio and video chain and report on fixes.
- 04
Control Room Workflow Planning
Layout and operating procedure advice for gallery teams running live productions.
- 05
Technical Writing for Broadcasters
Operating manuals, run sheets and internal documentation written for production crews.
- 06
Team Training Sessions
Remote or on-site sessions explaining studio signal flow and live production practice.
Tell us which part of the chain concerns you and we will say which service fits. Some jobs need only one, others combine two or three.
ContactHow to decide where to start
If you are unsure which service fits, think about the problem you can already see. A symptom on screen or a gap in your paperwork usually points to one starting place.
-
Start from the symptom
Flat faces, drifting lip-sync, a crowded gallery or crews guessing at procedure each point to a different service, so describe what you see first.
-
Review before you buy
A lighting review or camera consultancy before a purchase or rebuild tends to cost less than correcting a setup afterwards.
-
Combine where it helps
Audio audits and workflow planning often overlap, since timing faults and layout habits show up in the same programmes. We can scope them together.
Audio Sync Audit
Meant for studios and outside broadcast teams who see lip-sync drift, echo in monitoring or mismatched delays between sources. Priya Patel reviews your chain and sends a written report naming where timing slips and what to change.
Contact ↗
- 01Chain mapping
- We ask for a signal flow diagram or build one with you, listing every device that touches audio and video, including converters, embedders and monitoring feeds.
- 02Latency and clocking checks
- Measurements or logs are reviewed for processing delay per stage, and clock sources are checked so that devices are not each free-running against one another.
- 03Lip-sync assessment
- Where you can supply recordings or a test session, we judge offset between picture and sound at the points where programmes are delivered and monitored.
- 04Written report and fixes
- You receive a plain report listing findings in order of impact, with suggested settings or hardware changes your engineers can follow without a further visit.
Useful to have ready: a signal diagram, equipment list, current delay settings and a short recording that shows the fault.
